The May 1, 2017 issue of the Daily Journal honored Jason H. Tokoro of Miller Barondess, LLP for joining the firm’s partnership. Jason joined Miller Barondess in 2014 and has been an integral part of the firm’s success. In December 2016, Jason won a $3.4 million jury verdict on behalf of his client, California Bank & Trust, in San Diego Superior Court after a two-week trial. He also successfully defended the Bank against a $35 million lender liability claim. The Bank was awarded the full amount of its loan claim and over $700,000 in attorneys’ fees.

Jason has extensive commercial litigation and trial experience and specializes in representing entertainment, professional sports, real estate, and financial companies. Jason has represented Warner Bros., Lennar Corporation, Sony Pictures, and boxer Manny Pacquiao, amongst others.
Jason is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley Law School, and he joined Miller Barondess after practicing at O’Melveny & Myers. He serves on the board of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Young Professionals Committee and volunteers with numerous Los Angeles-based charities, including the After-School All-Stars, Big Sunday, Reading to Kids, and Midnight Mission.
