THE LATEST: Miller and his firm represent Inglewood and its mayor in lawsuits filed by MSG Forum, the owner of The Forum in Inglewood. The lawsuit stems from the Los Angeles Clippers’ plan to build a new arena in Inglewood. Miller was also instrumental in securing a nearly $120 million settlement in the case surrounding the October 2015 Aliso Canyon gas leak, the biggest natural gas leak in U.S. history.
BACKGROUND: Miller represents clients from celebrities to Fortune 500 companies to governments in litigation. Entertainers represented by Miller includes Rod Stewart, Sean Connery, Axl Rose and Steven Tyler. The companies he has represented include KB Home, Prudential Financial Inc., East West Bank and several other publicly traded banks. Miller defended the City of Los Angeles in the Rodney King civil rights case and other cases involving the Los Angeles Police Department.
