Jamie D. Vogel is a litigation associate with significant experience representing individual and commercial clients in complex litigation matters in state and federal courts. She has counseled clients during all phases of litigation and has experience in a wide range of high profile matters, including entertainment disputes, contested probate and trust litigation, real estate litigation, and commercial business disputes.
Prior to joining Miller Barondess, Jamie was a litigation associate at the Los Angeles office of a prominent international law firm. She received her J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School, where she was a USC Law Merit Scholarship recipient and a member of USC’s National Moot Court team. During the last two years of law school, she also worked as a Certified Law intern at the USC Post-Conviction Justice Project, where she represented inmates at parole hearings and re-sentencing proceedings. During her time at USC, she also helped author a legislative bill for juvenile justice reform as part of her work as an advocate at USC Law’s Legislative Policy Practicum.
Jamie received a B.A. in English, with an emphasis in Creative Writing, a B.A. in Neuroscience, and a minor in Psychology from the University of Southern California and graduated summa cum laude. Prior to law school, she studied Swahili and spent three months in Tanzania teaching HIV/AIDs education and also studied neuroscience and Scottish literature at the University of Edinburgh. Jamie served two terms as President of Spirits in Action, USC’s version of the Special Olympics and annual celebration of children with special needs.
