Nadia Sarkis and Ellie Ruth are scheduled to speak at the International Municipal Lawyers Association’s 88th Annual Conference, a national conference that brings local government attorneys together to network, champions the development of fair and realistic legal solutions, and provides its members with information about and solutions to the profusion of legal issues facing its membership today. The 2023 conference will be held at the La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, CA, from September 27–October 1.
Nadia and Ellie will speak on First Amendment issues facing public transit agencies, covering recent developments in the law on political, commercial, public issue, offensive, and religious speech. They will also discuss the best practices for crafting a transit advertising policy that can withstand legal challenges under current case law.
