Partners Dan Miller and Amnon Siegel have been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal on its 2024 list of the Leaders of Influence: Thriving in Their 40s. Dan Miller is one of the founding partners of Miller Barondess and an accomplished trial lawyer. He has extensive experience in the real estate sector, working with land developers, homebuilders, lenders, real estate private equity firms, and investment firms. He also has worked with banking and private equity clients, representing some of the leading investment banks in the world, two of the largest publicly traded banks in California, and leading venture capital firms. His victories include securing a complete dismissal on summary judgment of a $4 million finder’s fee claim in connection with the purchase of a $200 million ocean-front mixed-use development project. Miller also obtained an $11+ million award on behalf of an affiliate of a Los Angeles-based global private equity firm for breach of a reseller agreement in an international arbitration against two telecommunication companies and their parent company based in Lebanon. He obtained a settlement of $20+ million for the same private equity firm in the Southern District of New York regarding breach of a merger agreement.

Amnon Siegel is a partner with Miller Barondess and has been instrumental in the firm’s growth as a litigation powerhouse. An experienced trial lawyer and litigation strategist, Siegel handles complex disputes for both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of sectors, including banking and asset management, technology, real estate, consumer products, transportation, governmental regulation, and insurance. He has recovered more than $500 million for plaintiffs and has helped his defense clients avoid substantial exposure and potential liability. Siegel’s past trial victories include a $256 million jury verdict against defendant Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp, a $16 million jury verdict against Toyota, and a unanimous jury defense verdict for East West Bank in a multimillion-dollar lender liability action.
