Los Angeles Business Journal Special Report – November 23, 2020: Most Admired Law Firms
Miller Barondess, LLP is honored to be named on Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2020 list of “LA’s Top Firms to Work For.” This Special Report is dedicated to distinguishing the most admired and best law firms to work for in the Los Angeles area.
Miller Barondess has served the Los Angeles community since 2006. We focus solely on litigation and trial work, and represent individuals, businesses, and public and private entities through all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling to appellate proceedings.
Our firm has experienced substantial growth in our client base and attorneys over the last two years. Our team achieves winning results for clients—many of which are profiled in the media. Consequently, we have sustained our existing client base and acquired many new clients. We are proud that during the pandemic, we have made no layoffs, furloughs or staffing cuts, and made no salary cuts. Employees also received 2020 year-end bonuses and salary increases.
At Miller Barondess, we foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes creativity. We value inclusion, integrity and innovation, and strive to demonstrate our values on a daily basis.
We are focused on keeping our team safe as we navigate through the pandemic and have instituted a remote work environment. Maintaining our firm’s culture of open communication continues to be a priority. We keep our team connected through virtual meetings, happy hours, holiday parties and team building activities.
Our firm also believes that partnering with organizations committed to diversity and inclusion encourages advancement toward common goals and creates long standing relationships. In 2020, Miller Barondess partnered with Brotherhood Crusade, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for high need individuals and at–risk youth. The firm also supports Bet Tzedek, Alcott Center for Mental Health, Make-a-Wish Greater Los Angeles, Alzheimer’s Association, Hollywood Food Coalition, LACBA Domestic Violence Legal Services Project, Volunteers of America Los Angeles, League of Women Voters Los Angeles, UCLA’s “Feed the ER” Program, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Navajo Nation Government Relief Fund, Navajo and Hopi Families COVID-19 Relief Fund, and the Inglewood Airport Area Chamber of Commerce.
Miller Barondess is committed to helping our community during the uncertain and difficult times caused by the pandemic. We have initiated a pro bono program for local small businesses and non-profits interested in applying for federal funding through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The firm has also joined LA Represents Pro Bono Legal Initiative, and are working to ensure that those who need assistance most during the pandemic receive it.
