Biography

With years of domestic and international business experience prior to becoming a lawyer, Caitlin brings a resourceful, determined approach to solving complex litigation and appellate issues for her clients. A natural researcher and writer, Caitlin enjoys distilling complex legal issues into simple terms.  Her love of language formed as an undergrad as she pursued a degree in Latin and expanded when she learned Spanish.  Today Caitlin uses her command of language to craft strategic briefs and make effective arguments for her clients.

In addition to her MBA, Caitlin has years of practical business experience as a former entrepreneur, analyst, and consultant.  As a result, she understands complex industries and business disputes at every level.  Caitlin also appreciates the nuances of conducting business internationally from her fellowship work in Ecuador and Mexico with Kiva, a global microfinance nonprofit.

During law school, Caitlin was the Director of Development for the global nonprofit Arbitrator Intelligence. Prior to joining Miller Barondess,  Caitlin was an associate at a large, national law firm.

Notable Representations
  • Obtained asylum on behalf of several Afghan refugee individuals and families who were evacuated after the Taliban declared control of Kabul in 2021.
  • Obtained a reversal of a trial courts granting escrow moneys to a former executive who had been raided by the FBI and convicted of corporate espionage.
