Dylan Meier is a litigator with broad experience advising clients on high-stakes litigation and regulatory matters across industries, including the insurance, banking, technology, media, and entertainment sectors. Dylan litigates in both federal and state court, including multi-district and class action proceedings, and has experience at all stages of litigation. He has represented corporations, boards of directors, and management in litigation and in internal and government investigations brought by the DOJ, SEC, FTC, and state Attorneys General. His work includes pre-litigation counseling, motion and brief writing, preparing witnesses for deposition and trial, managing large-scale discovery, preparing for trial and mediation, and representing clients on appeal. He also maintains an active pro bono practice and has secured victories for fraudulent inducement and domestic violence victims.
Dylan earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the Editorial Board of the Virginia Law & Business Review and as Chief Investment Officer for Rivanna Investment. He received his B.A. in Finance, Economics, and Management from Augsburg College in 2017, where he played NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey. Prior to joining Miller Barondess, he was a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of an international law firm.
