Biography

Kelly is a commercial litigator who represents clients across many industries including entertainment, intellectual property, and technology.

Kelly previously worked for the Los Angeles City Council advising on issues involving housing, transportation, and public safety.  She also served as a Legislative Aide for the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, a law clerk for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office, and a Law Fellow for the non-profit California Lawyers for the Arts.  Prior to joining Miller Barondess, Kelly worked in the Silicon Valley and Los Angeles offices of an international law firm.

Kelly graduated from UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) and received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from UCLA. While in law school, Kelly was a member of her school’s Alternative Dispute Resolution team.  She also served as a staff editor and events coordinator for the Communications and Entertainment Law Journal.

A California native, Kelly is passionate about music and artist advocacy. She is a member of Songwriters of North America (SONA).
