Kendall Onyendu is an associate admitted to practice in California and New York. Kendall represents clients in a range of complex commercial litigation matters with a focus on labor and employment. She is experienced in counseling clients through all stages of litigation, including pre-suit negotiations and mediation.
Prior to joining Miller Barondess, Kendall clerked for the Honorable Consuelo B. Marshall in the U.S. District Court for Central District of California, worked at a renowned employment law firm in New York, and a nonprofit in Washington D.C. Kendall earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law, where she served as an editor for the Texas Journal of Civil Liberties and Civil Rights, provided transactional business law representation to small businesses and nonprofits in the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, was a William Wayne Justice Center Legal Fellow, and held leadership roles in several student organizations. During law school, Kendall also interned at the Brennan Center for Justice, the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee, and externed in the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia’s Office of Consumer Protection.
Kendall earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southern California and her Master’s Degree from Columbia University. Kendall previously served on the Board of Directors for Equal Justice Works, is an American Constitution Society Next Generation Leader, and has been named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star.”
