Marisa A. Kovacs

Marisa Kovacs is a litigation associate with experience representing clients in state and federal court in diverse matters, including contract, information privacy, product liability, and white-collar criminal defense.

Marisa earned her Juris Doctor degree at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, where she graduated cum laude and was a member of the Northwestern University Law Review, the Bartlit Center National Trial Team, and the Latino Law Students Association.  During law school, Marisa interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Illinois, and the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor.  Prior to joining Miller Barondess, Marisa worked in the Chicago office of a large commercial litigation firm.

Prior to law school, Marisa worked in the U.S. House of Representatives for several members of Congress, most recently as a Legislative Director.
