Marissa is an experienced trial attorney who has handled complex, high-stakes litigation at the intersection of science, regulation, and industry. Her multi-jurisdictional background enables her to anticipate regulatory developments that shape emerging markets across state and federal landscapes.
She has worked on a broad range of high-exposure products liability and personal injury matters—including trial representation of major tobacco manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and energy interests—as well as international business disputes and regulatory investigations. Marissa brings a disciplined, analytically rigorous approach to cases built on dense scientific and technical records, and has experience advising technology companies navigating rapidly evolving legal frameworks.
In addition to her litigation work, Marissa’s thought leadership explores the dynamic relationship between public health and the law. Drawing on global, longitudinal data, her research examines how patterns of harm emerge across industries and how scientifically grounded analysis can inform durable regulatory and legal standards.
Marissa earned her J.D. from Tulane University Law School, where she received a Certificate in Maritime Law, and served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Alan D Albright of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
