Mary is a litigation attorney who represents individuals, businesses, and public entities in high-stakes disputes in both state and federal courts throughout the U.S. With a focus on commercial contracts, labor and employment matters, product liability, real estate, and government-related litigation, Mary is known for her strategic approach to complex and novel legal issues. She has successfully counseled clients through all stages of litigation, from pre-suit negotiations to trial.
Before joining Miller Barondess, Mary practiced at a renowned international law firm in Los Angeles, where she gained experience handling sophisticated matters for a diverse client base. Mary earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, where she served as a lead article editor of the Harvard Human Rights Journal, was a student attorney with the Criminal Justice Institute, and completed externships with the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles County Office of the Public Defender. She also held leadership roles in several student organizations.
Prior to law school, Mary was a graduate fellow with AmeriCorps, reflecting her longstanding commitment to public service. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Critical Gender Studies from the University of California, San Diego, where she graduated with departmental honors.
