He has represented a prominent private equity firm in several cases involving mergers and acquisitions and other financing transactions. He has also represented two of the largest publicly traded banks in California, a leading venture capital firm in Los Angeles, and several early-stage companies.
Dan’s successes include securing an $11 million arbitration award and a $20 million settlement for a global private equity firm. He currently represents Wave Investments in a breach of contract and fraud case against SecurCapital, scheduled for trial in 2024. He also represents plaintiffs, including a prominent private equity firm, against Vervent for breach of contract, seeking $5 million in damages with a trial set in 2024. He represents a highly successful private equity firm in Los Angeles against a company in a multi-million-dollar shareholder dispute currently pending in Delaware Chancery Court.
Beyond his legal practice, Dan lectures at UCLA, mentors law students, and supports local charities, such as the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
